a small home with a few changes

Today I got a call from the photographer of our realty company.  He called at 11:45 AM as I was in the middle of one of the projects on my to-do list, asking if he could come take pictures to list our house to officially put it on the market.
"Great, I'll be there in about 30 minutes."
Well, let's just say, I would have won the gold if there was a category in the Olympics called "staging your home in a flash".

I have much to say about this little house- the good, the bad, the ugly- but, for now, here is a little peak at the before and afters.  We are so happy with the progress our little house has made!

A few more of my favorite things from around the house (cue the Sound of Music soundtrack)...

Sigh. I'm going to miss this place.

    1. Thanks Genna! We are sad to leave it, but hopefully it will go into good hands, and we know we are moving to a better place for us!

  3. Hi, Dana! I just found your blog through the Refashion Nation link page at Cotton and Curls. I've looked through nearly all of your posts and I like your voice and what you write about-- I would love to follow your blog, but I don't see a follow or subscribe button? Am I just missing it?

You have a beautiful home! You have done a great job restoring it. I lived in a 100 year old home once, and we fixed it up throughout the 10 years we lived there-- it was really hard to leave it after putting all that work and love into it.
    Best wishes!

    1. Thank you so much for reading and your encouragement! I hope to have more inspired posts after this move. I can definitely relate to your sadness of leaving the house you put so much into- I am actually only 6 days away from the move date and am enjoying each and every day in this house until then! Take care!

  4. Great before and after photos! You guys put a lot of work into it and it shows! I'll so miss the house and its inhabitants!!
